At Unrivaled Reefs we take pride in our work. This includes everything from customer service, to safely packing and shipping your live animals. Every specimen will be placed in multiple bags to ensure no leaks will occur during shipping. The bags are then placed into 3/4″ styro-lined corrugated boxes to maintain consistent temperatures, and to protect them from the outdoor elements during shipping. Depending on weather hot/cold packs are then placed inside to ensure proper temp. All containers are shipped overnight to arrive at your doorstep/local facility the very next day.
We use FedEx as our main carrier. We ship FedEx priority overnight for $50 flat rate, FREE for orders over $349.99. This shipping method is suitable for corals in most environmental conditions to most destinations. If you are requesting a "hold for pickup" service, please provide the name, address, and phone number of the FedEx local facility along with your phone number at checkout or by emailing us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org after your order is placed.
We use USPS for our dry goods carrier. Shipping via USPS priority mail is $13.50 flat rate, and free for orders over $99.99.
Shipping must be scheduled within 1 week of purchase date and contact information MUST be provided. This includes contact name, phone number, email address and delivery address. Packages are shipped out three times a week, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and will arrive the following day by 10:30 am if available in your area. We will NOT ship corals out until we have confirmed the shipping information with you first. At this time we are not shipping outside of the USA (no Hawaii or Alaska).
Every product from Unrivaled Reefs is guaranteed to arrive alive 2 hours past the time of delivery.
In case of DOA,(dead on arrival) we offer three options:
1. We can ship you a replacement,(if available) but buyer will be responsible for shipping costs.
2. We can put the replacement in a future order.
3. We can offer you store credit towards another coral. Store credit can not be applied to shipping fees and is valid for 1 year from issue date.
In order to receive a credit or replacement for any DOA corals they MUST be photographed in the original packaging. These photos MUST be emailed to unrivaledreefs@gmail within two hours of posted delivery time. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE DAMAGED/DEAD CORAL UNTIL INSTRUCTED BY US. Doing so may void your claim entirely. Shipping costs will not be refunded or credited due to DOA corals. If a customer wishes to receive only the replacement corals, shipping will be at the expense of the customer.
There are no refunds or returns, but we do want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will work with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied. Your satisfaction is our number one priority.
Unrivaled Reefs is not responsible for carrier delays due to mechanical failures, weather, or random acts of God and will not be covered under the guarantee.
If the package is held at a carrier facility for pickup, it must be picked up within 2 hours of arrival. If a package is rejected for any reason, the customer will assume responsibility.
By ordering from our site, you are agreeing that you are familiar with the proper way to care for a new coral including but not limited to: water acclimation, light acclimation, salinity, temperature, ph. etc.
Chargebacks for any amount of the shipment and the shipping charges without contacting Unrivaled Reefs first is illegal, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
